‘carving air’ is a work that embodies the repetitive anxieties of the human inner self, exploring the relationship between human ‘breath’ and ‘anxiety’. Through a close interaction with objects that visually reveal the gradual intensification of anxiety, it aims to express the subtle cycle and balance between anxiety and recovery through the movements of breath.

Breath becomes the medium of the sculpture, the body serves as the tool of creation, and movement is an act of giving form to the invisible, prompting a reflection on the delicate interactions between intangible presences that humans cannot control.

Each breath, each movement represents a moment of transformation—ephemeral yet deeply felt—inviting the audience to witness the process of making the invisible visible and giving shape to the formless.
